Anyone comparing Sven to Bennett is out of it. One has a much better tool box with a physical aspect and was ranked #1 by NHL scouting. The other was going to possibly be a very good skilled player but showed nothing in his time here except a refusal to play a 200 foot game. Bennett is 20 and already one of our better penalty killers and he is learning a much tougher position to boot.
I wonder if Jet fans were this impatient and wanted to run Scheifele out of town before the last quarter of last year. I don't think so. Patience.

How hard is it to get your head in the game? I don't get it. You can push hard and pick up potentially 4 points in two days and leapfrog your rivals, and you don't come in pumped up and ready to go?!
For shame, man.. I don't understand these guys sometimes. It's beyond me. I KIND OF get not having it in Winnipeg in the midst of a stretch against non competitive teams and on a one game trip, but with the implications tonight and tomorrow, I don't know how you don't get up tonight and then get up all the same tomorrow. This output just does not compute for me.

People calling out individual players after a period like this is daft. No one had a good period. It was a bad period for every single person at ice level. Players were lazy and not engaged. Coaches couldn't get their players focused and working.
Rotten period. Unfortunately, it's been trending this way for a couple o games now.

That's not what I was saying. I meant there are lots more people wanting to move Bennett some reason and some are the same posters that blew a gasket when Sven was traded.
But agree with what you said.

Francis always says things backwards. The Devils got a powerplay out of it [Hathaway hit]. Yeah, I know what he meant, but he does this a lot. Like "Games in hand" the other night.

lol at Eric Francis furious at how NJ got a "power play" out of Hathaways hit.... He said Power play at least two times.
This is funny to me because of his new commercial on the fan 960 implying he is incredible smart. The lulz.

shyeah, focused on bed time.
Ugh I can't stand this coaching staff.

The coaching staff has made smart decisions. There is motivation or drive missing from the coaching staff that Hartley gave the players.

He clearly meant penalty and even said "the Flames couldn't capitalize".
