I'm not so sure that would do it. Anyone who is still considering voting for him (man or woman) must already believe Hillary is a shrew. The outrageous, insulting things he's said about so many people didn't seem to affect his popularity and didn't really change the race, let alone decide it.
That being said, it would just be so crazy for him to get into that fight. First of all, everyone knows Bill Clinton is a cad. They've been making jokes about it for 25 years now. That's not going to be anything new.
Not everyone knows about Trump's sordid history, but I would imagine the Hillary campaign has that all cued up and ready to go if the time comes.

I don't see why Bill Clinton is even being discussed at all. He's not the one running.

Trump loves to go after his opponents' family members. He did it in the primaries too. Thing is, this is a higher level clown show and it's a bad idea.

Heh, as if Trump didn't already have too many cooks in his debate prep kitchen, he's now directly polling his supporters about what he should and shouldn't focus on next time.

It's kinda a hilarious admission about how many things he did wrong in the first debate. Question conspicuously missing: Should Donald Trump prepare for the next debate?

I was kind of wondering what his post-president plans are. Has there been any talk about that?
He is still relatively young and hopefully he keep using his talents. He would be a great diplomat and I am sure he will be a high-demand public speaker.

Didn't he do this for the first one too, though? It's a pretty cheap and easy "I'm your voice" populist move. He doesn't have to pay any attention to the results.

A good article on the question of what Bill Clinton might do if Hillary is elected President:

I've never liked Barack Obama's speaking style. Maybe I'm just weird but it always seems a bit herky-jerky. I think actually Michelle is the better speaker of the two. Her style is very smooth and powerful.

I think it is totally relevant. Hillary was obviously quite involved in the various fiascos, not only as the wife of the cheater, but she was actively involved with dealing with a few of the mistresses after. Sure Bill is in the wrong big time, but speaks to her character in a roundabout sad way.

I'm not going to go down the whole rabbit hole from the 90s, but she was involved with a few of the earlier mistresses, and keeping them quiet and their stories to themselves.
My point is family and their actions are totally fair game. Just as people look at Trump's family and judge the crazy things they say.

I'm no political genius or anything, but my guess is that the Clinton camp is absolutely drooling at the thought of Trump trying to make hay out of Bill Clinton's extramarital affairs in the 1990s. They likely understand that Trump only hurts himself by going there.

it's incredible how easily Trump is baited. Trump and whole Republican party has been baited by this Miss Universe stuff. I didn't think much of it at the time if Hillary wants to mention her sure go ahead. But it's absolutely blown up with the Republicans on the defensive and now smearing Machado every way they can.

Google is apparently anti-Trump too. Or not at all.
Quote:
Donald Trump accused Google of “suppressing” negative information about Hillary Clinton at a rally Wednesday night, repeating an unsubstantiated charge published by a Kremlin-backed news agency that the company has denied.
“A new post-debate poll that just came out, the Google poll, has us leading Hillary Clinton by 2 points nationwide,” Trump said, apparently referencing a poll conducted for Independent Journal Review by Google Consumer Surveys that shows him ahead of the Democratic nominee, 45.7 percent to 44 percent.
Story Continued Below
But, he went on, “And that’s despite the fact that Google search engine was suppressing the bad news about Hillary Clinton.”
|
Quote:
The report, an “exclusive” published by the Russian propaganda outlet Sputnik News on Sept. 12, claims that “biased search suggestions” by Google could shift up to 3 million votes in the upcoming election. It was cited by Breitbart News on Sept. 13.
Google, which was accused in June of manipulating its search engine to favor Clinton in a viral video, denied those allegations in a June 10 statement.
“Google autocomplete does not favor any candidate or cause. Claims to the contrary simply misunderstand how autocomplete works,” the company said.

I get the sense that this election will have far more "decided" than "undecided" voters heading into these debates. I have trouble seeing how watching these debates, if the next ones are anything like the atrocity we saw Monday, would be compelling people to vote either which way.
There's not much discussed other than platitudes and sound bites or anything of real substance. There's no meaningful exchange or proposals or ideas. After the debate I was just left wondering why I should bother watching anymore, and I wonder how many Americans feel that way now.
