Goalie interference there, pretty simple call for the refs.

I understood entry to the zone is judged at the inside (goal line) edge of the blue line. Holding the puck in is judged at the outside (red line) edge of the line. This is why linesmen lean in one direction depending on the nature of the play.

well then they should also improve the resolution and frame rate of these cameras. half the time i'm looking at a moving blur.

I'd like to see that again, looked like the puck was already in before Elliot started sliding back

They really need to improve the coaches challenge or get rid of it altogether. Give the team a penalty if a challenge doesn't go your way. So many times this season it's been abused by coaches and it slows the game down to a crawl.

Game just became 1000% less exciting.

Seems like a clearer solution would be to treat it similar to the goal line. A vertical plane that determines offsides instead of contact with the ice.

Much easier to determine too if you have a camera staring down the blueline.

Absolutely they should. It's ridiculous that at this point they're still using low, angled shots to review these.

I have been listening to 1410 AM Vancouver and the station is carrying this game in its entirety using the Blackhawks feed. The announcers were hilarious when the Beatles song "Let it be" was playing during the offside review.

No question that's a goal. Not sure what the review was for.

This is ridiculous. Axe the ####ing coach's challenge. St. Louis gets a goal and Chicago gets a goal, I reckon both should count.

Don't think you can call that back for interference. Looked good to me.

I do too. Elliot was on the post, so it wasn't a case of Shaw preventing lateral movement, and he started moving backwards when the puck was already in the net.
