Oh for sure there is definitely a lot of deadweight on this team, but Jones should be part of that group you mentioned. Jones was not very good at all

To sum it up:
We are almost all flames fans(there's a few trolls here, you know who you are).
We want the flames to win
We want the flames to get the best possible prospect
We're all happy for the win, some of us are just upset that the team will be punished for winning games.
The draft should be awarded to teams, not won for losing. The flames should get the top pick for being a hard working team that never gives up. Instead they'll likely get 6 or 7 or maybe worse. That's what pisses some of us off. The flames always seem to end up in the short end of the stick and it's annoying.

I don't think it's that annoying winning or even that important where we draft, if we get Matthews or whatever... it doesn't really change things. We don't need 18 year old kids, we need a goalie and we need several terrible contracts off the team, then maybe some right wingers and some 215+ pound forwards.
10 million next season to players that we would be better off not icing really sucks, winning or losing the last game of the year is substantially less important than how much Bollig, Wideman and Stajan negatively effect the teams potential. Uhhh... 6 million for Wideman next year. Can't we trade Wideman to a team with terrible d and some cap space, somebody would take him salary retained.

I can't even read through this thread when people are being disgusted by a win ... I get it but goddammit I can't, just CAN'T cheer for bloody losses at any time of the year. I love that we went out with a win.
Again I get it blah blah draft lottery blah but I don't give a rats derriere I cheer for the Flames to win. Period. I feel we will get some good karma and have a great season next season! GO FLAMES GO!!!!!!!!
