I'd say it's 50/50 at this point. There's about a 15/85 chance he gets re-signed.

Not sure, but the good thing is, is a lot of Metro teams are playing at home in the next two days so there's plenty of teams within striking distance if the Flames make any roster additions via trade.

Not sure about NFL. But CFL does too.
What I mean though is there an entire day devoted to that deadline day? Where 2 sports stations cover it for the entire day? Where for the majority of that show nothing happens?

I know NBA has a "deadline day" I think there were no trades.

I'm still expecting 20-40 trades. Slow start though that's for sure.

I guess the positive if he does stay, your avatar stays relevant.

The record is 31, and it's barely broken 20 the last few years, so...

Probably not. But it's a good time. I always enjoy deadline day. The boring lead up to the last couple of hours and then the flurry of last minute trades and the talking heads scrambling to keep up. If anything, they should have the deadline show coverage start 3 hours later and have a few hours past the deadline available for follow up.

As does my jersey, but sometimes the old jerseys are the best - I love seeing Commodore and Huselius jerseys at the Dome

I'd love the teams to be on verbal lockdown then announce everything at 1:00 just to screw with the media.

I'd love to see Wayne Brady, Colin Mochrie, Brad Sherwood and Ryan Stiles do a trade deadline-themed Irish Drinking Song.

How many defensemen hit 60 pts in a year? 2? 3?
The last 5 or 6 years it has been 2 or 3. A few years before that it was about 5 or 6. Not sure if my memory is close or not, but back in the 80s and early 90s it was probably close to 10.

Cannot wait until David Jones never plays with Johnny and Monahan again. I find it hilarious how Johnny and monny keep getting points when Jones is there but Jones never gets any.

Last year there was 3
- Karlsson 66pts
- Burns 60pts
- Subban 60pts

Year before there was 2
- Karlsson 74pts
- Keith 61pts

So yeah I don't think anyone's expectations were for Hamilton to be a 60 point defensemen. Not sure where Ferraro got that from.

According to a league source, Bruins and Flames discussing D-man Kris Russell but source added it's too soon to say if a deal gets done.

We'll only know how it performs when Treliving trades Russell for a 4th in 2018.
