Oh I dunno about that. I have always had a soft spot for the Habbies, due to family growing up. Grandad, My father, and all my aunts and uncles were Habs fans so naturally I heard A LOT about the team as a kid.
Course it's ALWAYS Flames first when they go head to head, but I can still cheer for them when they aren't against us.

That is 100% bull####.
Being a fan of the Panthers has ZERO impact on my being a Flames fan. Different conferences and they play each other twice a year.
If the Flames were playing decent hockey I would be really into the games. Sadly, they're playing uninspired and bland hockey, which makes losing all the more unpalatable.
I still follow the Flames FAR more than I follow the Panthers.

I was a Blackhawks fan long before I converted to the Flames, I still pull for them outside of playing against the Flames. I also like Dallas. Doesn't make anyone less of a fan having multiple teams to cheer for.
