SPG, NHL and the Flames are really hooking me up this trip.
After I won the auction, 2 reps from the NHL called me to tell me the itinerary. After they found out I was a hardcore Flames fan, they offered me a couple bonuses in addition to everything I was already getting. They sent me a big box of free NHL All Star swag (hoodie, t-shirt, polo, hat, toque and scarf), giving me red carpet access when the players arrive to the rink, as well as try to set-up a meet and greet with Johnny.
I took a chance and emailed Ken King and told him I was coming to Nashville. To my surprise, he got back to me! I'm joining a group of 8 contest winners from Calgary and will be having dinner with Rollie Cyr tonight and lunch with Brian Burke tomorrow! If you guys have any questions for Rollie and/or Burkie, let me know.
We're heading to the Bridgestone Arena and Fan Fair now wearing our Flames jerseys.

I believe the Breakaway Challenge is where the players try to do something creative and are judged on the attempt whether they score or not (Kane's Superman cape a few years ago; Johnny and Voracek last year).
The Shootout is a straight shootout where the goals count and every player gets a shot. I believe in the Shootout, you keep going as long as you keep scoring. The first year Phaneuf went to the ASG, he either won the Shootout or was one of the last guys standing because he kept scoring.

Man, this is one great package. Soooo envious. Enjoy it thoroughly!
Rollie is a great guy. Ask him if he expects lots of season tickets coming available for next season due to the economy. Also, if the organization is contemplating a reduction in ticket prices for that same reason?
Ask Burke, which position he thinks should be the prime acquisition target for Treliving (goal, defense, RW)? I doubt he will give you a definitive answer, but he will not mince words, I am sure.
