I think what makes this season worse is the disappointment. If they were bad last year I'm probably not upset right now.

Agreed. The compete factor last year was great and winning is fun. The decline has been unexpected.

One thing that seems to be overlooked is that the Flames were playing a very good team game since January of 2014, that is for the last half of the season two years ago. So it's not like last year was a brief aberration.

You forgot about our god-awful special teams. This team is just an all around dumpster fire this season. No positives whatsoever outside of maybe Gaudreau. It's basically the same team on paper as last season. Amazing how such a fast, hard-working, skilled team could become such a #### show over the course of one summer. I don't get it. It's a total freakin' mystery.
