Price went down again tonight. Maybe Montreal will take a chance on Ortio?

I see Montreal bringing Tokarski up rather than claiming Ortio

Can we get a poll, please? (i.e., will Ortio be claimed?)

I feel like he'll be claimed, but I will be relieved/happy if he is not. Either way, he needs games played to improve.

It does depend of the style of GM. If he was really that worried about Ortio, he shouldn't have re-signed Ramo.
So far, Treliving doesn't believe you can "over season prospects" but everyone and their dog knows Raymond is taking up a spot.
The biggest question for me is, which Treliving transaction as the Flames GM has actually helped them, except Hiller last season?

He has had plenty of opportunities to succeed, to say otherwise is complete nonsense.

Will all be irrelevant after the Habs claim him
Even if it's to just play in the AHL

If they claimed him he would have to clear waivers to play in the AHL. Guess who would get first crack at him if that would happen?

3) Sits on the bench the rest of the time getting no development
Don't know how he could be happy with the past few months. Bad asset management.

If he had forced their hand I feel he would have the job. Bad situation made worse by 3 goalies playing poorly. Any one of these guys could have grabbed it by now.

Relax there, and if you are mad at the situation because Ortio has a chance to get claimed then follow these steps.
The 5 Stages of Loss & Grief:
1. Denial and Isolation
- he first reaction to learning of terminal illness or death of a cherished loved one is to deny the reality of the situation.
2. Anger (This is where you are at)
- As the masking effects of denial and isolation begin to wear, reality and its pain re-emerge. We are not ready.
3. Bargaining (Can't really do this now can we?)
- The normal reaction to feelings of helplessness and vulnerability is often a need to regain control
4. Depression
This phase may be eased by simple clarification and reassurance.
5. Acceptance
This phase is marked by withdrawal and calm.
Now, please bear with us here as we wait another 12 hours.
