On the game...the 'Hawks show an alarming habit, again, of giving up a goal in the shift after they score...and Cumiskey truly was ineffective in defending on the GWG...I was extremely irritated at the end, it seemed that MacCauley was allowing the Bolts to tackle 'Hawk forwards who were pursuing the puck...not that there was much time to do anything, but a won face off with a 6 on 4 with 10 seconds left could have (and should have) happened...

Keith with 20 points right know that's pretty crazy for a defenceman.Tops in the playoffs with 18* assists

I personally like this Tampa team. There is no one left from 04, so no illl will on my part. I think Yzerman and Cooper have done a fantastic job, and the team is young and talented, it's a preview of the Flames.
I'll stick to my prediction Bolts in 6.

Dave Mishkin is a laugh. At times over the playoffs I have listened to Lightning feeds on satellite radio and he's pretty funny. Really monotone and almost dull calling the game until the Lightning score and he totally goes nuts. The funny thing as the transition from monotone to spazzing is like an on/off switch as there's no warning of him raising his voice up to the puck crossing the line. When the other team scores it's all monotone like the rest of his call but when the Lighting score it's like he's possessed by a different PBP guy.

They're also a lot better than I had thought. I predicted Chicago in 4 or 5. Fun team to watch too, and seeing Stamkos win his first cup would be a lot cooler than watching Toews/Kane win a 3rd.

Haven't been able to keep up with the series so far but I picked Bolts in 7 whereas my friend picked Hawks in 6. No ill will left for me either! Would love to see Stammer hoist the Cup!!

Nah!
Roster changes reported for the 'Hawks...Timonen in Cumiskey out...Versteeg in Bickell out
Cumiskey just isn't strong enough to win battles, perhaps Timonen can use his veteran guile...plus if the 'Hawks pull it out and win the Cup, Timonen, in playing a game in the finals, would automatically rate getting his name engraved...
Fun stat: 'Hawks under Q, all playoff series...Games 1, 2, and 3: 30-30...Games 4, 5, 6, and 7: 40-13!

I didn't realize this is Hossa's FIFTH (5) Stanley Cup Final appearance. That is crazy.
A legend like our beloved Iggy has only been to the Final once. Funny how that works sometimes. Or Marcel Dionne not having a championship at all.

NBC just called the Hawks "This era's dominant franchise". After our dynasty thread, I would say that NBC nailed it. They are dominant, but not a dynasty.
Good job NBC

The thread was about if they won this cup.
I don't think anyone would consider 2 cups in 5 years a dynasty

get your #### together Chicago. I don't want Tampa to win another Cup.
*yes I'm aware that there is no one left on the team from 2004, yes I'm aware that Chicago has already won a bunch lately. I don't care, #### Tampa*
