78.5 Disallowed Goals – Apparent goals shall be disallowed by the
Referee and the appropriate announcement made by the Public Address Announcer for the following reasons:
(i) When the puck has been directed, batted or thrown into the net by an attacking player other than with a stick
Sadly, this is the correct call..

I know it's been said 1000 times before, and I know it'll never happen... but no TV timeouts is AWESOME

Interesting.
By that rule, the "distinct kicking motion" is meaningless. Any clearly deliberate attempt to redirect the puck in should be discounted.
That's a shame. Headers are awesome.

That's an attempt to clarify the difference between deflection and kicking it in

Shots are relatively close...but scoring chances have to be at a 4-1 ratio in favor of the Ducks.....just ridiculous.

This is the best non-Flames game I've seen in quite some time.

it was funny but I dont think you want guys jumping to head pucks into the net (or for any other reason)...its also a good way to get a headshot or stick in the face

But both should be illegal if intentional, which is contrary to everything I've heard commentators say for years.

This is a hell of an overtime. So many chances and maybe a third OT period coming up.

As Johns broke his arm, and Rundblad blows, Paliotta, with NO NHL experience is the only other option than Cumiskey.
