I chose Booth and Galy for Left wingers.... ha ha! I have no idea what I am doing. Still ended night with 40.2 points.

Once again, too late for the paid one, but given how last night went, that probably isn't a bad thing. F'ing Kings both won, and did nothing of note for the pool.

Check out this site guys for starting goalies: http://www2.dailyfaceoff.com/startin...ies/2015/3/17/
It's a good reference so you don't accidentally pick a tender who isn't playing tonight.
I had Rask and I changed him because it looks like Svedberg is probable.

I entered the free trial. Not sure... It is very different scoring than draftkings, and I don't want to screw myself up there lol. Got almost $200 on account there, mostly from NFL... But have won about $25 the last couple days.
At draftkings, pims don't count, no bonus for pp points, and goals/assists count the same, so it's an entirely different game.

Question... what happens if the goalie you choose ends up not playing? I was also curious as to why it's possible to choose a player on the IR.

If you choose a goalie not playing, you get 0 points.
I think they just don't bother removing players on IR. As well, you can choose players who could be scratches, so homework is a must.

That actually pisses me off.
They have guys like Sena Acolaste and Brian McGrattan still on there.
It seems like they keep track of stars on Fanduel by putting the IR or O logo by their name if they are out, but the lower and mid guys, they don't track. So you could potentially pick a guy who's playing in the AHL for your team accidentally.

I'm still playing with house money, so I'm OK
It's a fun little hobby though. Makes some of the meaningless games more interesting.
Plus if you hit the big $3k or $6k win, I'm sure your wife/gf won't be complaining when you get a free trip to Mexico in the middle of Calgary winter

Was close to hitting a big football one last season.
It's almost lottery like though. I was 16th (.75 points behind first) out of 5000 players and got $120 while the winner took 10k.
I find NFL easier to consistently place... At least in 50/50 or triple up. Anything else is just throwing a dart.

I seem to consistently win 50/50s but lose everything else.

I haven't played any 50/50s.
I might give it a whirl tomorrow. I'm trying to pace myself.
.... or tonight

Great way to play, imo.
No homeruns, but doubles down and keeps you playing.
I opened an draftkings account before the NFL started, with $35 credit from another purchase. Been playing regularly (semi) since then and now have just under $200. Have been as high as $500 and as low as $8 but has provided hours and hours of useless, free entertainment.
I shoot for the big ones too, but that doesn't work so good lol.

That's what makes the pools fun. Gives nice prolonged entertainment.
You can lose $500 at a blackjack table in minutes basically.
