Tate had a real nice game, but was playing against 2s and 3s. Arm looked live though; looks like the tendonitis is fully healed.
Surprised we didn't see Moniz or Davis; looks like they've decided on Moniz as #3 and Davis likely on the practice squad with Buckley going back to school (I thought he would have graduated by now).
PS we need a way to differentiate Lemar Durant and Darian Durant. Trying to read the game summary was frustrating to say the least...

Stamps still have 68 players on camp. Rosters must be trimmed to 46 total excluding players on 6-games injured list and 1-game injured list. 3 of the 46 on the roster must be QBs and 20 of them are nationals.
Here's the remaining players for the Stamps :
QB(3) : Bo Levi Mitchell, Drew Tate and Bryant Moniz
Nationals(34) : RB Jon Cornish, RB Matt Walter, FB Rob Cote, FB Charlie Power, FB Langlais, OL Spencer Wilson, OL Brad Erdos, OL Brander Craighead, Shane Bergman, C Pierre Lavertu, OL Dan Federkeil, OL Pat Swiston, OL Karl Lavoie, R Anthony Parker, R Simon Charbonneau-Campeau, R Lemar Durant, DT Junior Turner, DT Ben D'Aguilar, DT Quinn Smith, DT Corey Mace, DL Shomari Williams, DL Derek Wiggan, LB Karl McCartney, DB Adam Berger, DB Hecht, DB Adam Thibault, DB Trevaughn Campbell, DB Dexter Janke, P Rob Maver, K Rene Paredes, LS Tim St. Pierre, LS Randy Chevrier, K Tyler Crapigna, LB Johnson
Internationals(30): RB Tory Harrison, RB/Ret Tim Brown, OL Edwin Harrison, OL Andre Ramsey, OL Garry Williams, SB Marquay McDaniel, SB Jeff Fuller, R Eric Rogers, R Joe West, R/Ret Sederrik Cunningham, R Kamar Jorden, R Greg Wilson, DE Charleston Hughes, DE DeQuin Evans, DT Micah Johnson, DE Frank Beltre, DL Freddie Bishop III, DE Brandon Boudreaux, MLB Juwan Simpson, OLB Keon Raymond, OLB Glenn Love, OLB Deron Mayo, LB Jesper Simmons, DB Fred Bennett, DB Joshua Bell, DB Brandon Smith, DB Jamar Wall, DB Buddy Jackson, DB Joe Burnett, DB Ciante Evans
Confirmed 6-game injured list : LB Max Caron
Possible on Injured List : RB Matt Walter, OL Brander Craighead, SB Jeff Fuller*, DT Junior Turner, DT Ben D'Aguilar, DT Micah Johnson*, DT Corey Mace, OLB Keon Raymond*, OL Karl Lavoie
I think Stamps will still make some roster moves before the first game of the regular season next week.

Slaughter released was a tough move for Huff. There is only one position available for International receiving position and I thought Greg Wilson outplayed everyone including the veterans. The only way I think Slaughter will make the team is the way Cunningham made it last season and that is via Returner. Unfortunately with the Stamps signing a veteran and proven explosive returner in Tim Brown, there was no room for him. Toston was in the same situation. He was fighting a spot with Tory Harrison and I thought Harrison played much better than Toston in the first pre-season. There are other players that I think are having a good training camp but ended up getting released as well. This training camp is probably the toughest in a few years. Lots of good players but only so much spots available. DB Royce Adams was having a good camp and I thought he will make it. Even a veteran Lin-J Shell got cut and so as QB Dominique Davis. I am thinking Huff will probably offer Davis, Adams, Slaughter a spot on practice roster.

Yes they do. In Winnipeg, the default basic cable TSN channel is TSN3, in Toronto it's TSN4 and in Ottawa it's TSN5.
I'm sure they spend a ton of money for the US Open and want them shown to everyone possible in those markets.

I agree, although I'm not sure about the Tim Brown signing. I think he's lost a step and I liked what I saw from Slaughter. I won't mind to be proved wrong though.

I wanted Slaughter to make the team too along with Greg Wilson. Unfortunately he got lost in the numbers game. He can't unseat McDaniel, Fuller, Rogers and West. I was actually very impressed with him on the first pre-season with his return play and that good catch he made and he got hit big time. Like I said if Stamps did not sign Brown, he could have been a shoo-in. I hope Tim Brown hasn't lost his explosiveness either and I also hope he can still be a good backup to Cornish.

Speaking of international receiver, what's the over/under on how many games Fuller plays this year? 8?
He's a terrific talent but it's pointless unless he's able to dress on gameday...

Sucks Craighead can't stay healthy.
Interesting to see Crapigna on the 6 game list. Highly doubt that one.
Fuller is healthy so thats good to see.
Only Durant, Burnett, Simmons, Williams(Gary) and Wiggan are the new faces on the active roster compared to last years Grey Cup winning team.
-Durant replaces Arthur/Sinopli
-Burnett replaces Shell
-Williams take Harrison's spot who takes Bryant's spot
-Simmons likely backing up Mayo
-Wiggans joins 4 man rotation at DT (2 starting spots), replaces Bolden

Stampeders released 2 players. WR/Returner Sederrick Cunningham and National DL Shomari Williams were released. I guess Tim Brown playing much better lately made Cunningham while National R Jabari Arthur starts practicing with the team. They will wait until Arthur is in game shape before they put him in the lineup. R Nathan Slaughter is also practicing with the team.
For some reason Cunningham just couldn't keep himself in the lineup because of his inconsistency. Good player but the last he played he's having problem catching the ball for some reason. Shomari Williams on the other hand Just couldn't unseat Quinn Smith or Junior Turner so he's just been playing on special team.

2nd year in a row he'll miss half the season. Walter better take this opportunity and run with it.

And the West gets a little more interesting...
Edmonton likely has a new quarterback, BC looks much improved from last season, and Saskatachewan... is still winless (hehehe).
