That audition video makes me laugh every time. First off, why are there like 12 people there evaluating this decision. Second, why are they doing this at a days inn?

If the AHL Flames don't release Scorch, what's stopping the CP faithful from making our own Scorch costume and holding auditions in some seedy hotel conference room or gym or wherever in the hell Glens Falls held theirs and make Scorch live on? Not only would I help pony up cash but I'll gladly help recreate the audition video with my gear. Just need some terrible dancers..
I've emailed the Adirondack Flames asking if it would be possible to purchase the costume either by paying them directly or by making a donation to the Glens Falls Fire Department on their behalf. I'll post their response once I hear back from them.

We could even get him a trio of inept sidekicks, reflective of our friends up north, and give them cute names like Fizzle, Snuffout and Lottery. Then we could make fun video montages of Scorchy trying to teach them how to not keep failing. "No no no silly Fizzle, we don't burn down our own house year after year".
