Every 2 really for me, but the important thing is for people who watch it more to feel better about themselves for being in the big boy club.

Can't wait for Croatia-Mexico. Should be an excellent game.

We make fun of Qatar for being 1000 degrees but a world cup game tonight here in Calgary would really suck

It might suck, but it wouldn't be a danger to player's health.

Can someone explain to me how a seemingly minor infraction like a handball is worth such a huge penalty in a free kick? And how can it be considered a penalty if the opposing team kicks the ball straight into your hand? Watching Australia vs. Netherlands and that's one of the dumbest rules I've ever seen in any sport. Luckily the Dutch got it back and then some, but man that would be infuriating to watch if you were actually a fan of them

Read the last 4 pages of this thread; it's been debated and explained beyond need.

Still a moronic move obviously, especially since the ref was perpendicular to them.

Probably more of a painful rub than a hit, but he went to the sidelines even after Song had already been carded, with a rather pained cringe. So while there was some playacting, I'm thinking there was also some quite genuine pain.

In any case, it's impossible to really say from that angle, and doesn't really matter much. If Song missed, good. He still deserved to get thrown out for trying that, and nobody deserves to get hit like that.
