The Joker guy is doing a good job, but my issue is that he's already basically the Joker doing Joker things sans makeup. I think I would have preferred just bits and pieces of the Joker without him becoming such a big part of the show. I was interested in the Penguin's story arc, and so far he's been pretty much sidelined this season.

Binge watching this right now.
Penguin is running away with it, but oddly reminds me a bit of Justin Trudeau.

Last night's episode was fantastic. No Fish, whom I still can't stand, no mafia stuff which I wish they would move away from story wise.
Just chaotic Gotham that focused a lot more on Bruce Wayne, Wayne Enterprises and Gordon. An episode like that reminds me of how glorious the show can be, and reminds me also of the episode with Fish in the human organ camp that reminds me how dumb it can be as well.

Loved it last night. Loved. It.
I think they're going to focus more on how Jerome becomes the Joker and how Bruce becomes Batman. I can't wait to see what Alfred does to start training Bruce and how he starts to harden up. I can't imagine what Jerome is going to do to become more crazy but I'm guessing he's going to take over that little group of theirs sooner or later. There was a bit of foreshadowing when he said "you gotta start somewhere"

Well you don't have to worry about fish, Jada Smith has said that it was a one year roll, and she needed to die so Penquin could ascend and seize the underworld.
Right now to me, Penguin is going to fall on the side of Gordon, at least for a while.
Like I mentioned, we have what looks like one of the bigger Batman Villains in Joker rising, but at the same time there are Monsters coming to cleanse Gotham, which still makes me think League of Shadows.
They've really pushed Selena off to the side to start this season, she was pretty much furniture in her brief appearance, but she's always been a wishy washy villain so she will at some point protect Bruce.
We still have the Ridder rising as well, I have my doubts that we see Killer Croc or Bane at least for a while.
The Maniax!'s are a good villain base but the way that Joker coldly killed his team mate without any emotion was awesome.
Barbara was very good and very cold last night, she's not sick or ill, this is the Barbara that's been hiding for the whole series.

That was an amazing episode last night. My favourite part as Captain alluded to was The Joker just coldly shooting his teammate because he stole his line, and not even missing a beat.

It seems like when they invisioned this joker character that they wanted more of the Jack Nicholson showman joker then they did with the Heath Ledger angry joker.
You can even see it in the way that the actor does his smiles and his eyes go from good humor to dead in a heart beat.

Kid playing the joker is amazing. Kid playing Bruce is really starting to irk me. But I think part of it is they are revealing everything way to quick. When first billed it was supposed to be a story about Gotham and the PD and especially Gordon. They're gone full superhero now. No intrigue about the crime families vying for power, or Gordon railing against the establishment. It's going full Batman.

That is a pretty terrible gif and it has nothing to do with anything so I'll agree...
I didn't mind the show last night, it's not the greatest this season so far but it's still pretty good.

My wife & I were going wtf once this new villain billionaire guy killed Jerome (who we thought would be the future Joker).
Rest of the episode was good with Barbara and the "sister"; Barbara & the billionaire villain who is reclaiming the city for his family.
Alfred flirting with the ME was cute, and him finding out she is with Gordon....
The end itself was just like very lazy writing at the end..... and absolutely no words for the crap at the end of folks laughing crazily & just murderering while doing the joker laugh.

Surprisingly good bounce back episode last night, where evil billionaire is trying to rig the election. We saw Riddler develop more, to me something bad is going to happen to his his new squeeze and the hard Riddler second personality is going to take over.
We finally saw the real nasty penguin, who is now working for the evil billionaire villain. I loved the line from his stooge after they killed the one candidate and he was standing with her volunteers, one of whom asked him why they're doing this, and he very nonchalantly replied
"I don't know why we're doing this, but we've been doing crazy stuff all day"
The scene between Alfred and Selina was to me well done in that it made me really uncomfortable, but I never like seeing men hitting woman, especially Alfred punching out a 13 year old girl, but it struck a nice emotional cord in that I felt really badly for her, she's a kid caught in circumstance.
There's a lot of neat stuff happening in the background, Barbara is entirely bat$$$$ crazy now, I love the new Captain, they picked a great actor to portray him.
I forgive them for killing Jarome.

Decent episode this week, but the one before made zero sense. It made me mad. Especially because it had the potential to be great. I'm not even mad Jerome was killed. Just that in the way it all went down it made zero sense.
It was the Batman 4 of Batmans. Franchise killer. It made NO sense.

This episode was better but it still feels like there is too much over acting. I thought things were going well until the billionaire guy showed up now it seems everyone is just trying too hard or something.

Ok, I'm surprised this thread isn't being used more. Two weeks in a row of really good shows. Last week was really good but had a few moments but all together went over well and explained a lot. Last night was really good IMO. Ed Nigma is turning into a really good character and I"m enjoying the show even more.
