I don't know for certain but I think the facial stuff is one of the last things to be done... Kind of get the meat of the game done before E3, then refine the last little bit.

It's very difficult to make that happen, as the deformation expressions would have to be unique for every player's name and numbers. Its not a major thing, but I've noticed it too, especially after going to school for Game Design.

Probably. I know they said they have a guy working on faces who should get a good chunk of the league done. I don't actually care... it just seemed a little strange. Maybe they tried it and it wasn't quite there so they went with something more generic.

That makes sense, but you'd think they would use someone who has the correct face for a promotional screen shot. Not a good look.

I'm not sure about the "Make some noise", but they definitely have a real octopus over the ice at the Joe.

Have they said whether they're doing all 30 or not? I imagine if they got rights to MSG they're planning too, but you never know.
I can't wait to see how authentic they really are. Glass with the paper still on it in Florida? Empty seats in Phoenix? Jerseys thrown on the ice, and lots of mullets and sweatpants in Edmonton?

They were having problems with rights before weren't they? I just played the Islanders in NHL13 and they were in "Long Island Arena". I imagine NHL15 will have about mostly realistic arenas mixed in with some generic ones.

I think it's more the naming rights that they had issues with...
We might see the real United Center, but with Chicago Stadium as the name.
