I don't think its as much Elrich not being as funny, but the emergence of others on the show really starting to shine, like Jared who I think is by far the star of this season.
That character reminds me of season 1 with Peter Gregory who's character was so incredibly well acted.

Erlrich is just evolving as a character.
He was 'funnier' before when he was running the incubator and was in every scene being hilarious. I'd say now though he arguably has funnier material and scenes even though there are less of them because his role has been so heavily marginalized on the show.
That meeting between all the stakeholders in pied piper and Ehrlick says to I believe Laurie "I don't even know why you're here" and she just gazes off like he's the most oblivious person in the world had me in stitches.
No, Ehrlick, why are YOU there?
"But now Bighead, we have 20 million and 32 thousand dollars. Remember, we are both liquidating all of our assets here."

As a developer, the tabs vs spaces thing was amazing. Same thing with Vim vs Emacs.

For me, it wasn't so much the file size of the source code but rather certain compiler settings will treat tabs / spaces differently and the code formatting will look like #### when you try to review it. I ended up going through a guy's code and replaced the lead spaces with tabs.
I hope the next episode we get some version control and comment action.
