The Mariners exceeded my expectations, while also disappointing me.

I was hoping they'd finish around the .500 mark, so their overall record was better than I had hoped. At the same time, their September performance prior to the last 5 games really makes this season seem like a bit of a missed opportunity.

Plenty of young talent to look forward to in the future!
