ya he should've cross checked him and negated the powerplay...
there's a big difference between Ballard falling into your goalie and Cooke running him, I'm glad Gio is smart enough not to retaliate in this situation

He doesn't need to take a penalty, but let the guy know that being that close to your goalie is not welcome
