Just checked now; Nothing left in the lower bowl and second tier, except singles. Nosebleeds have about a hundred seats left on each side out of approximately 2000 seats.
Really impressive; Will likely be announced somewhere in the 18000's. We've come along way since attendance took a nosedive after the Flames bought the team. I realize that was likely due to Bannister artificially inflating attendance, but still, remember when the Necks won the Champion's cup in 2009 in front of 13000 fans at the Dome? That was pretty embarrassing.
Yeah, that was an excellent call. Must have been cool for him to normally do radio and then all of sudden due to the game being picked up, there he is doing play by play on a national broadcast.
It's always cool when you see what CP'ers look like, too. Now I can put a face to "you have received an infraction; enough with the personal attacks, not what we're looking for here".

Also, not to give advice to a professional, as I know it probably sounds lame coming from a ****ty CP poster, but in regards to your interview with the commissioner;
First of all, those broadcast booth interviews always look like they're horribly awkward, as they usually have one person almost in front of the other a bit, to get you both on camera.
Everything was awesome, question and response-wise, but it just looked a little weird that you never looked at him during the interview. Again, not criticism, just something to try next time, and to be honest it looked like it would have been nearly impossible to do anyways, as they had you kind of in front of him.
Extremely impressed with your work, though. Hopefully the NLL keeps growing to the point where the Rouchnecks are always on TV and you can be their full time PBP guy.

Also Jiri (I think it was you), one correction - that incident where we steamrolled the Buffalo goalie was 2004, not 2009. That is still one of my favourite lacrosse moments ever. 19,000 new lacrosse fans going "he can do that?" then erupting into a massive cheer.
As far as tonight's game goes, I have no idea what Vinc was thinking. After his pick behind the net, he had to know he'd get run on that play. Went for a wander, cost his team its powerplay, and killed any momentum Rochester would have had to start the second half.
16,500 is a pretty amazing crowd. But sort of odd at the same time, because that was pretty much what they had sold ahead of time (Ticketmaster never had the seats past row 8 or so available), so that implies no walk-up. Sounded like 19,000 though. I had trouble hearing for about a half hour after I left the building!

Thanks completely new experience for me with stuff I've never dealt with. Very much thrown in the deep in hoping to sink or swim. I think I manager to tread water.
You are right about the interview it felt awkward but because of how we were set up it was hard to turn to him without shifting my entire body.
Frankly I'm just glad I didn't pee myself on national tv because by the end of the game it was getting close.

I think there was another goalie getting crushed by the Necks though, I think it was King when he was playing for the Rush. Not sure who the player was that hit him, but he scrambled out of the crease for a loose ball to try and help get it back up the floor. Decided running with it would be better than passing...and BOOM hahaha

There were moments during the interview where you had the deer in the headlights look. Your eyes didn't move and it was if you were so focused on the camera that you forgot to look over at the person you were interviewing.
Love the enthusiasim you put in your PBP and your knowladge of the game and players. You sounded very professional with your ability to keep up with the flow of the game. You just need to develop your own signature call when it comes to a Necks goal
Also explaining the rules when it comes to goal reviews and such was a nice added touch as i'm sure there were viewers that didn't understand all aspects of the game.
Finally you have a good working relationship with your partner doing the colour. You both seem to know when you should let the other guy speak.
With the national exposure who knows who might take an interest in your PBP abilities. Hope it leads to bigger and better things for you

For what it is worth I thought you did well, and I enjoyed the game. I liked that you did not feel the need to fill the air with needless words/stories.
Do you know if the second game is being televised?
