Our goal differential relative to the other three teams that are unbeaten in regulation so far is rather hilarious.

Do we keep rolling with Mac and start Ramo on the back to back in Phx? Or put Ramo in next game.

Not when Edmonton is still in the league

Monahan now has more points than the Oiler's last 3 1st overall picks combined

Just a great night to be a Calgary sports fan. The Stampeders put another win together and move 6 points up on the Riders and Lions and the Flames play a great team hard working team game to beat New Jersey.

This is the most exciting Flames team to watch since the 2003-2004 club. Not because we're winning (although that helps) but just because of the style they play. These are a group of guys playing for each other and putting their own bodies on the line to get the win. Who didn't get pumped up seeing Bouma getting mauled on the bench by Baertschi after his big play late in the game?

The energy in the saddledome was awesome late in the game. I hope it becomes that electric atmosphere that it was a few years ago again.

The best part is we have lots of prospects coming down the pipe that are going to really bring this team to the next level. Baertschi and Monahan are already showing great chemistry together. So much to love right now!

What a game, very exciting to watch, especially the third, that minute or two of shot blocks... WOW, that was a flames team I like to watch, and Monahans finish was just the icing on the cake. Great game Flames. Great. ####ing. Game

check this out. according to capgeek we had the 2nd lowest payroll in the league, and tonight we had 3 of our top 4 highest paid forwards out injured...or $13.5 million out meaning that we played with a theoretical approximate cap space tonight of $25.9 million.

flames win, stamps win. wow! go Flames go!
not to be a Debbie Downer here, but how does 51.8 - 13.5 = 25.9 ?

12.4 cap space + 13.5 injured = 25.9 free

51.8 committed - 13.5 injured = 38.3 on ice

64.3 total cap - 38.3 on ice = 26.0 avail

orange should be the same, and they are (rounding is the 100k difference)

hope that makes more sense.
