If you check on the "don't include the price" box, it includes the face value price instead of the season ticket holder price paid. That's a great feature.

I'm honestly baffled this is only being introduced in 2013. I have been to Flames games before but have never been a member (being an Australian). Interestingly enough I have had paperless memberships to local sporting teams here in Australia since the mid 90's.

I feel for some of the old people who share tickets, but it would only take a friend a very short amount of time to sort them out for the rest of the season if they couldn't do it. A slight hassle no doubt, but considering the convenience of paperless tickets, as well as how slick the interface is for assigning tickets to others, I think the benefits hugely outway any problems a small minority of people may have.

Smoskowitz might just could earn himself a PTO with the Heat this year. He's been good this game.

Is he going to use his season ticket holder card when watching the big team or perhaps he is going to the Heat over anger about not getting the glossy tickets and only the stock issued ones.

Just saw a "ticket exchange by Ticketmaster" add on MNF. Not sure if it is running in Canada. They were definitely pushing it as the only safe and secure way to buy tickets. My worry is it will become the only way to sell tickets, and TM will take a big cut in fees.

Not sure what the Flames are charging, but the Kansas City Chiefs charge 10% if you sell your tickets on their ticket exchange (same exact layout and procedure as the Flames through ticket Master). Nice feature about the ticket exchange is being able to put the cash from sales directly on your account.

I'm pretty disapointed that the Flames didn't have this feature up and running in time for the preseason. I think I could have sold my preseason tickets for face value on the ticket exchange instead of desperatly trying to dump them here on CP for a lose.

Also, you can still buy and sell tickets on Stub Hub. Stub Hub guarantees the printed at home tickets just like old school ticket master printed tickets.

One thing I have noticed is that if you select the "don't include the price" button once the person you transferred them to prints them off they see the STH price on the printing confirmation screen. Small detail but annoying none the less.

I e-mailed the flames last week about getting my tickets printed and haven't heard back from them.

I did receive my cards though. Hopefully it's not too late to still get them printed...

Hopefully the Flames are a little cheaper on the fees. 20% to the seller and 10% to the buyer seems a little excessive IMO. Stubhub only does 15% and they didn't already make money on the tickets once. Hopefully they come in somewhere around 10% but I doubt it.

I called them today and apparantly they didn't get my e-mail for the request to print the tickets (after waiting 40 minutes to talk to someone!).

But they did say I could pick them up tomorrow.

Got my cards today. My only complaint is the glob of glue they use to stick it to the folder. That stuff just doesn't come off! The Flames need to talk to the good folks at Visa or Mastercard about what substance that is they use to stick cards to paper non-permanently.
