These people aren't going to be able to control themselves and behave when they re-open no matter how hard they try. It's going to be super-busy, she's had complaints about under-cooked pizza on Yelp for years, and now a bunch of trolls will be sending good food just for fun.
When re-opened, a portion of proceeds will benefit a charity organized to bring awareness to cyber bullying.
I love how this was left open ended. A portion could mean anything. $15? 15% Are they talking revenues or profits? Because if it's the latter, some poor cyber bullied kid is getting 15% of nothing....
A very small part of me is starting to think that this is just one big viral attempt by Yelp.com to get some attention. I didn't count but it felt like it was mentioned at least once every part of that interview. I can't wait to hear back about the grand re-opening tonight. I think this just reinforces one of the main internet rules.... Don't feed the trolls.
I don't think this is fake at all. Samy is a rich ######bag, just a stubborn old soup nazi.
I feel a bit sad for Amy, she clearly has some mental issues, and Samy has been sheltering her and letting her be the way she is. She's not bats**t crazy, but some meds would do her good. That episode actually hurt a bit, I have someone close who has some issues and it's hard to watch them basically making a fool of themselves. It's actually kind of cruel to box it up and call it entertainment.

Now, The Arizona Republic is reporting that Samy Bouzaglo is attending immigration hearings that could revoke his residency status after he did not disclose information to immigration authorities. According to the paper, the information revolves around documents that show he's banned from France and Germany and has a history of drug and extortion charges. The deportation process has been going on for two years and has nothing to do with the couple's appearance on "Kitchen Nightmares," said Scottsdale immigration lawyer David Asser.
This week, in addition to the deportation issue, the Bouzaglos are currently in the middle of a weeklong grand reopening which they claim garnered more than 1,500 reservations and aims to rehabilitate their reputation they say was tarnished by Gordon Ramsay and his show, “Kitchen Nightmares.”
Also a scheduled press conference in an attempt to answer what they say are falsehoods depicted on the reality television show was canceled Tuesday because of lawsuit threats from Fox. And the high-powered PR firm Rose+Moser+Allyn Public & Online Relations ended its short-lived relationship with the Bouzaglos, a day before the restaurant's grand re-opening, citing differences in professional opinions.
Dude when it comes to the Canucks, it could be a team of Adolf Hitler, Pol Pot, Augusto Pinochet, Josef Stalin and Kim Jong Il and if one of them scores against the Canucks you take it.

You know you're crazy when even a company who makes money off of terrible decisions by their clients doesn't want to deal with you.

I wonder if they're still clinging to the notion that a bunch of "on-line bullies" are targeting them personally. They certainly trumped that up during that one interview.
I liked that part when she said she asked god for a husband and he delivered Sami, so she married him in 5 months because she didn't want to waste any time.

Thank you for everything CP. Good memories and thankful for everything that has been done to help me out. I will no longer take part on these boards. Take care, Go Flames Go.
Watched the episode last night, what a ride. They're both mentally ill and beyond help, not a surprise she was convicted of fraud previously. She's one of those people that refuses to be accountable for anything. Crazy eyes.
I would have bailed on this a lot earlier than Ramsey did. If there's one thing life has taught me, it's to never f*** around with someone who speaks Cat.
They're crazy but seeing the radio interview and looking into the backstory with the guys who came to the restaurant purposefully, I legitimately feel like they're being bullied, and I feel kinda bad for them. The truth is somewhere in between the crazy on the show and the kind people they think they are.
That's all good they are getting all the press, but they claimed to have a thousand reservations for this week, I have yet to see a blog/article/youtube/etc from anyone that actually went down and went to eat there this week.
