Yeah, but I remember clearly TSN asking Burke how much it hurt not to pick the player he wanted with Kadri sitting between Burke and duthie. They'll do it.

Baertschi wasn't more skilled and talented than Comeau?????? He also is significantly more skilled player than Stempniak or Stajan or as it turned out this year Cammalleri?

He got sent down as Tanguay, Cammalleri, Hudler, Cervenka, were taking up all the small guy minutes.

The only forwards with grit were Iginla and Glencross and Comeau.... and they had their hands full playing with 3-4 undersized shy guys on every one of their shifts ..... a lot of time when they were on the ice there would be no one on the ice on their team who would have their back.

( 4th liners Jackman and Begin don't count as possible Baertschi linemates and mentors.

I would not be at all surprised to see the Flames draft a Domi, or Petan in this draft, even though the team is small already.
Not in the first round.. If Domi is available at the 104th spot (Gaudreau's draft spot) then the Flames will take him.

Feaster and his management team likely will be long gone before Gaudreau plays 20 NHL games ... ie it takes 3-4 years for small guys to make it to the NHL. and they usually need a big team to get them in....

If Nic Petan is available with the Pens pick I honestly think the Flames would take a flyer on him.

Maybe they take Monahan over Lindholm due to the size gap but I don't think they will just draft big guys through the whole draft due to the current size of the team.
