The operational savings of bus vs rail are drops in the bucket to the total cost of supporting motordom absent mass transit. You need to expand your scope to system costs.

West LRT isn't a great case study for the green line, because its catchment aerea is kind of short and wide. Green line should have much shorter feeder routes compared to the length of the main line than the west LRT does.

Shorter spurs out of downtown are ideal. All building a station in Tuscany does is take cars off the road between Tuscany station and crowfoot, a road with loads of capacity. It also encourages people to move out past Tuscany.
