Anyone figure out if there was a region chat? I'd hate to have to use the Origin chat feature.

In the manual it says:

"Open Chat / Region Wall = Enter"

But that's the only thing I can find on an in game chat.

Ok, so it says I can't send invites at this time. Maybe Nehkara has to do it.

But I can also see that my friends list and Origin ui is taking a long time to load.

Played that tutorial about 6 times. I think it will be slow building for me so I don't get ahead of myself.

Please make sure you guys have accepted your friend requests. I'm sure I've added everyone from Titan Gorge. I can't invite you to the region, unless you're on my friends list.

The server is being really slow right now. (surprise)

Kicked off the download before I left for work this morning and connected to my PC via RDP to see it had finished. Fired up the login screen and did the rest of the downloading, so I should be good to go for tonight.

How many city plots are left in Serenity Valley?

Seems like 12 or so.

I just sent invites off to the people I have on my friends list, that are listed for Titan Gorge.

If you didn't get an invite, add me to friends and then I can invite you.

I sent out invites to all the Titan Gorge players yesterday but only got a few back. Tried doing it again now, but when I go to add friends, it only comes up with a blank window. Guess I'll have to be patient.

I will take whatever city on whatever map. I didn't get a chance to try out the beta so I just want to get started on something.

K I just bought the game yesterday. I'm in for wherever! GoTron88.

The only problem is I think Origin servers must be overloaded because I can't seem to add friends or download the game client right now lol.

There are Origin Friend Requests, which everyone could do anytime. Once you have Sim City downloaded, installed and joined to the correct server, you should show up in the Sim City friends list, which uses the Origin friend list. You won't be able to get an invite to join the region until you show up in the creators friends list, Gramstyle (me) for Viridian Woods.

For Titan Gorge, I think people are going to have multiple invites, as it looks like Nehkara, Red Mile DJ and woob have all sent out invites

My invites are just to add people to my friends list, not for the region. I haven't even logged into SimCity yet since downloading.

Hey guys, I'm not disappeared!

I have been sending invites when I can. The next round will go out to Sneedis, Diemenz, and slackerrob, but it is saying that I can't send out invites at the moment.

We'll get everyone in game soon enough.
