So according to this article they didn't mean to start the fire, but they threw in a "a pyrotechnic device that "generates a lot of heat." Along with "highly flammable tear gas"
http://www.thedailybeast.com/article...went-down.html
Isn't that like saying we threw gasoline and a flare in but didn't expect it catch on fire?

This is what I've been saying all along. Just because you throw tear gas in a house doesn't mean it's DEFINITELY going to catch fire but there is a chance. They tried pumping gas in earlier but it wasn't strong enough so they used CS canisters.
At this point in time, the particulate matter inside the canister is expelled using smoke, which causes a lot of heat.
I really don't know why you are focussing on the fact they used tear gas. The guy was on a murder rampage, stole vehicles, conducted home invasions, forcibly confined civilians and threatened more murders. You're really that worried about his welfare?
Don't forget, Dorner had AMPLE opportunities to give himself up and end this peacefully. He chose they way this ended and no one else.

This whole situation is weird. I find it really strange that they have not identified the body as Dorner... like you would think they would be on top of this if the body wasn't him, he'd be loose out there. And the cops burning down the cabin..... lol

I don't base my world view on him at all either. Some of his views, even I will agree, are nuts. Call me tinfoil hat, or whatever you want, but no matter how much of a lunatic Alex Jones looks like on national TV, he DOES make some amazing points about many topics.
I get that many people here absolutely despise anyone that questions the social norm and many also are quick to jump over the "conspiracy theorist" name calling. I get it and if you want to live in that world, where everything is perfect, that's awesome. I cannot though and would rather everyone question events that happen and what they are told instead of going along with the rest of the sheep.
Back on topic, the point I was making in my post was this:
The US government, by way of whatever police agency was involved here, tried, convicted, and sentenced this man to death, without him ever stepping foot in a court of law.
Was he guilty? Probably. Almost certainly. If he was guilty, did that make him an evil person? Absolutely. Scum of the earth to kill, especially a child. But, he did NOT deserve to be assassinated...no matter how stubborn he was to not come out of the building. He knew he was a dead man even if he attempted to surrender.

They've confirmed it was him, but haven't released how he died yet.
Medical examiners have confirmed that the charred body found in a cabin near Big Bear Lake, California, is that of Christopher Dorner, the rogue ex-cop wanted in a string of killings around the Los Angeles area, the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department announced Thursday.
Identification was made through dental records, sheriff's spokeswoman Jodi Miller said. The cause of death wasn't immediately released.

Why does everything have to have a conspiracy theory connected to it? One of the downsides of the Internet is how easily these wackjobs can spread their BS.

I wonder how long it is before someone claims to be Dorner and that it was just another LAPD coverup.

No it's not narrow, at all. Other have said it better but Alex Jones is a total wing nut. You open yourself up to ridicule linking to his site or citing him.

I don't think it's a conspiracy, just that there is more then what we know, and there are tons of questions that we have. And that we should be asking.
It's not like anyone thinks they killed him cause he has the keys to Area 51.

Stop being so dramatic. John F Kennedy was assassinated, Malcom X was assassinated, Lincoln was assassinated. They had no idea the bullet was coming. Dorner could have at any time, put down his weapons, complied with police demands and been taken into custody. Had he given up, he'd be in a orange jump suit eating crappy food in a remand centre. But he'd be ALIVE and he could have got his story out through his lawyer, through the court, whatever.
FFS THE POLICE DID NOT INTEND TO BURN THE CABIN DOWN! Get over it! Dorner was a victim of his own stupidity and illusions of grandeur.

So what?
He killed four innocent people, and was firing on armed police officers.
