Frankly I'm shocked by how many people in this thread don't drink beer.

Is it that you don't drink? Or that you just don't drink beer?

Beer costs $1.50 for a single can and just over $5 for a sixpack of Taiwan Classic at 7-11 here. I drink ... many. Three a day on weekdays, between ... god ... 12 and 20 on weekend days.

I have gained weight.

Bit of both for me. I barely drink, and when I do, it isn't often beer (unless I'm offered).

If there's a hockey game on a weekday I pick up 6 tallboys

If it's a weekend I buy a flat and a 2-6 and see where the night takes me =D

Living with my girlfriend for 4 years now and she has 0 problem with me having a few beers watching hockey. Honestly how many serious decisions does one have to make after 8pm?? (she's going to make them for you anyways) The only one I have to make is stick to the 6 tallboys or get more beer!

All of them. About 9 tonight so far.

Speaking of which, there are 5 left and only 2:12 left in the third with the Flames down 5-1 to Vancouver. I can verify it's not enough....

You must be a hard liquor man, because 3-5 beers should not lead to this..

Not a huge beer drinker. I usually get a pretty decent hangover after only a few. I'll usually just have 2 or 3 if I'm watching a game and then switch over to the rum. I can drink quite a bit of that stuff and feel great the next day.

I haven't had a drop of beer in my life. My first real alcoholic drink was at Christmas time, a few months past my 40th birthday....

My family has a VERY, VERY bad history of alcoholism (on both sides) so I swore I'd never drink. But I figured one glass of wine wasn't going to kill me. Thus far I haven't killed anyone drunk driving.

Yeah, that type of buffoonery is typically limited to the 12-18 range or the "I could swear I bought a bottle of whisky....what happened to it?" kind of insanity.
