I am loving the home dogs this week. That Packers win last night was a gift from the gambling gods. Pounding Rams +5.
I'm in on the following so far:
STL +5
MIN -5.5
CAR +1
Will likely get in on TB +2.5, WSH +6.5, IND -3, CIN +1, CHI -5.

For some yes for others no. I had big plans, with a Houston win, to hedge my bets and drop $1000 on SD but thanks to Rodgers deciding to show up and the Texans mental collapses that plan has gone out the window.
So far in Pools this year without the blocks strictly moneyline im 24-8, maybe it's time to start betting something else besides the pools.

Haha, yup. They might light up that craptastic Carolina Pass D, but I think the Carolina's ground game and Dallas' terrible o-line + coaching will keep them in it. Plus Carolina is at home and coming off the bye.
In other news, apparently I liked the Vikings so much this week I accidentally made the same bet three times

Umm you do realize that Carolina's run D is 23 in the league and Dallas is 13th? Not to mention their pass D is the best in the league and Newton this year has been far from spectacular.
I know there is massive hate on this site for Dallas but seriously, I will agree to disagree with your assessment on this game.
Anyhow
Picks for moneyline, excluding Thursday nighter, are as follows:
Ten vs Buf (blocked this game)
Dal vs Car
Balt vs Hou (blocked this game)
Clev vs Indy
Arz Vs Minn
NWO vs TB (could go either way)
GB vs Stl
Wash vs NYG
NYJ vs NE
Jax vs Oak
Pitt vs Cin (blocked this game)
Det vs Chicago

I havent had a lot of success the last couple weeks so i decided to just pick 3 semi-longshots on a proline ticket and play it for 20 bucks.
I have Cleveland, Arizona and Tampa to win and the ticket will pay 604.00 if it wins.

My stupid bets on the the Vikings paid off. I went 4-4 yesterday, but putting 2 units on the Vikings means I still came out ahead. Hopefully the Bears can make it a strong week.

Early games I'm on already for next week:
MIN -6.5
WSH +4.5
MIA +1
DEN -6.5
NYG +1
Also like STL +7 and PHI -1, but am waiting for the prices to come down.

mentioned it in the NFL thread but this week I'm 11/11 in pools with Chicago to go tonight.
Put $250 on Detroit ML at 3.3 to hedge my bet.
Gonna be a nice weekend no matter what

Denver coming off a bye week against that Saints D at only 6.5. I'm all over that o begin with.
Also, I love Chicago tonight. That is a hot mess of a team in Detroit.

At home no less. The only reason that line isn't 10 is because the public still loves the Saints.

I'm curious what the pools payout will be with a Chicago win. I think a bazillion people would have gotten 12 right, it was a pretty easy week.
Did any dogs other than Tennessee win?

That's what I'm thinking too and thus only put $250 on Detroit to win, I'm actually thinking the payout might be better on that bet then a chicago win.
I was really hoping for a Cincy win last night as quick search on twitter had lots of people picking Pitt.
Some people didn't give much credit to Dallas either
Funny thing though, all of my friends and hardcore gamblers had Buffalo as a guaranteed win game so I guess we will see.

It's really fun to look at some of these and wonder what the hell people are thinking. Miami might be the best team in the AFC East and they're getting points against the Jets? And yet people are still taking the Jets.
That being said, I think the books are going to get killed on the Cowboys/Giants game. They had to set the line low because the Cowboys are at home and beat New York in week 1, but the Giants are a much better team.

Took a 6 game point spread ticket saturday night half loaded and its down to Detroit to cover tonight for a $150 on a $5 bet. Not feeling to confident but who knows with Cutler at the helm.
