I didn't know anyone there except her.
Buchberger was with him I thought he was going to tune me in but pretty much broke it up.
McAmmond not involved was also there.
The 3 of them left shortly after.
I didn't even know who they were except Buchberger. He scared the jeebus out of me.
I also got into a bar fight 86' with Todd Brooker he was hitting on my girlfriend at the time. I came back from the bar put the drinks down and I hit him in the throat.
Even now my friends that were there shout "Broooker" and laugh about that.
It was pretty crazy but has become funny.

I wasn't familiar with who Todd Brooker was until I Googled him 2 minutes ago, but ya, he definitely looks like a guy that I would want to punch in the throat too.

Speaking of hockey related claims to fame, I pissed on Doan's BMW in front of the legion in Castor, AB. I used to get drunk and piss on things, I'm not sure why, it got me stuck in the clink on more than one occasion.

It's funny how I automatically assume that forum members are male until I realize otherwise (or their username tells me). My initial reaction was : "Mantracker is gay?"

- My cousin pitched in the MLB for Atlanta, Chicago, and Seattle and went to the Olympics in Beijing for Canada
- I knocked out one of the Moffats at a house party (he was being a ######)
- I met Paris Hilton in 2003 in Surfers Paradise, Australia when she was filming House of Wax. We hit it off fairly well so to speak...

She told him to take her luggage to her room and then tipped him a fiver?

Insane...I was the biggest placebo fan growing up...and by biggest fan loved the lead singer and how she'd wear super tight jeans. Saw them at the black lounge many times. I had no idea that the lead singer was Feist. I also remember holding her up in the mosh pit.
I remember seeing a lot of "Simon's Pet Iguana (later Downway)", Huevos Rancheros, and Chixdiggit shows there too.

Family. I'm either closely or distantly related to, among others:
- a millionaire / triple murderer
- one of the oldest families known to live in the Helsinki area (it's a short list)
- a very famous writer (although we only share a name but no blood relation)
- the inventor of the Finnish national sport
- a man who hid Lenin while he was in exile in Helsinki, they were close
- a minister of foreign affairs
- a head of the parliament
- a translator of the International ("the communist anthem") into Finnish
- a head of one Soviet state
- a founder of anarchist organizations in several different countries
Yes, those are all different people. Most of them are long dead, all the money is gone. Personally I'm not famous at all.
Well, I'm somewhat known in Finnish roleplaying circles, but not very.

My grandfather was a first cousin to George Bernard Shaw. He liked to travel and grew up in Boston and immigrated to Canada. He delivered mail by dog sled during the Yukon gold rush and worked on the Panama Canal construction as a boilermaker. Oh yeah he was also one of the founders of the CCF (NDP) and ran for mayor of Vancouver under their ticket a few times.
My other grandfather also went to the gold rush and was a card player and singer, piano player.
I haven't distinguished myself for anything but I'm enjoying this life. Well I did help build many of the buildings in downtown Calgary and other projects across western Canada.

I was Iginla's neighbour for around 5 years. Also had drinks with Kirsten Dunst at the Cannes film festival.

I have a Placebo CD from back then still. If you don't have it we could probably work something out. It has "bathwater" in the title or something.

I am certainly interested to hear the story behind that. An anecdote I would be proud to break out any time I happened to be watching old world's strongest man competitions with company had it happened to me.
