Which easier said than done. Hard to build a kid's self esteem when people like you are constantly harping on them for things they can't control.

mikey, I really feel sorry for someone who feels the amount of hate you do towards everyone in the world who is just trying to live their own lives. It's not your fault though, you were taught and raised this way.

Like Valo said, more and more people realize that his is really an antiquated way of thinking and I hope eventually people will stop teaching their kids stuff like this.

I don't think people actually go around "constantly harping" on gays with gender problems/challenges. I've never seen it in my personal life. Outside of the "kids can be cruel" mantra, its a whole lot of empty hype drummed up by the mass media....just like the race tension being manufactured out of the Trayvon Martin case.

I think you need to read my post more carefully.

The "hatred" I was expressing was not toward the gender confused participant in question, but the follow-up bullying/intimidation of a private organization that has its own set of rules, all under the guise of pc liberal dogma.

Of the 3 gay people that I know in my circle of friends/acquaintances, not one of them would describe me as hateful toward gays. Ironically, one of these friends from high school used to call everyone a fag for one reason or another. Years later he popped up on my facebook and lo and behold he is gay and proud of it.
