The freezing in this game is just stupid. I've had this game freeze on me no less than 5 times during online play at random times, or once even while I was just trying to setup an online game. Hopefully an update to fix this is coming.

I can't totally remember all the trades I made because they were mostly all for top-end prospects. Prospects are really really really easy to acquire. I believe I traded Ivanans & a 6th for Jared Boll in my second season (didn't re-sign TK).

To TBL: Stajan, Hannan, 2011 1st round, 2012 1st round


I was plenty happy with that (especially since I was sitting Stajan and had Brodie playing up already, and was swapping between Carson, Butler and Hannan for the 6th spot prior to the trade)

Then the kicker was they put Hannan on waivers, and I picked him back up, which put him in the minors... so he can help out the Heat while I just have Carson & Butler play in the 6th spot. Makes the trade look pretty sweet imo.

Odds are I'll finish first (or high up) anyway so the 1st round picks aren't all that vital to me, I usually end up with a few 2nds via trading prospects that I don't plan to re-sign. The game really seems to over-value 1st round picks in balancing trades.

Unfortunately in 5 games, Stamkos only has 1 goal & 1 assist... but I've been bouncing him between 1st line C and 2nd line RW, can't quite decide where to use him since Backlund & Iggy are playing well together.

I guess the trades are better this year compared to last year. Last year I did Bouwmeester + Stajan + 2nd Round Pick for Stamkos and Hedman, and then Kipper + Bourque + First for Crosby and Fleury

Things that annoy me so far:

- Players on my team constantly skating into me and blocking me from getting in the open
- Every person online having to watch each and every replay and intro scene
- Freezing

The first time someone scores, if they watch their goal replays...I do the same back to them. The rest of the game I let the whole sequence run and hope I kill them 7-1.

Just skip the replay, and if you want to see it, watch it at the end of the game! Especially now that NHL 12 makes that so easy to do that.

I think I may have slightly overpaid, but you have no idea about a players value to an organization. You either get laughed at by the other GM or they bend you over, there's no middle ground

Just skip the replay, and if you want to see it, watch it at the end of the game! Especially now that NHL 12 makes that so easy to do that.

Nothing gives me more gratification than having someone watch their replays, and then getting up by six or seven goals and making them watch every second of my replays as retribution. After about four or five, they get pissed and start pausing it. That just gives me a full 30 seconds to enjoy the replay by myself from the pause menu.

They're then faced with this question:

Do I pause it and wait 30 seconds or have to sit through another replay.

Hopefully the message gets across for their next game

Not a bad trade though, I would have guessed olli a first and maybe a 2nd or 3rd at most would land him?

I know the feeling.

The only other thing I've seen is "we aren't in the market for a (position) right now"

Yet if you add a pick to the trade, suddenly they are, and they think they've routed you.

Thats what I like, when you make a trade and they accept it no matter what it is they always think they won the trade.

So I buy the game today, and I got no announcers speaking... The volume is turned up, what am I missing?

Whatever the latest patch was suppose to fix, freezing during Be a Pro wasn't one of them. My first game after I downloaded froze after the first period.

If it was a tuner, it won't patch fundamental game glitches and problems. Just tunes the gameplay.

There hasn't been a title update since release. It has all be tuner update. A patch is upcoming though.
