Adams set pieces with Carrolls talent in the air should be fun to watch for Liverpool

Adam should be a great player once he gets his passing under control. From the limited appearances I've seen, he seems to go for the 50-yard highlight reel passes far too often which causes a loss in possesion. Good price for him, though, no arguing that.

Theres a lot of little things that Adam has to be better at, but at the core I think he has the talent to be one of the best playmaking mids in the game in a few years.

The price is ridiculous. What did they turn down in January? £7M for Charlie Adam is a steal.

I think they turned down 10m, so its a 3m loss

but if they had stayed up it would have been a huge difference so it was worth the risk keeping him

and 7m for Blackpool covers their wages for an entire season

Its kind of lose/lose there for them. They got £3M less and went down anyways.

Sometimes you just have to roll the dice. Hell, Adam at £10M isnt a bad price either.

Luka Modric has no plans to hand in a transfer request at Tottenham, according to his agent Nikky Vuksan.

Every article that references this and has a picture shows the saddest pictures of Modric they could possibly find.

this sums up how I feel about all of them, specifically Sky (who if they haven't been bought/paid by Roman to specifically help him out I would be shocked), language is NSFW

I'm hearing that Eriksson might be open to signing Hargreaves to play for Leicester City.

I dont know why, maybe their trainers dont have enough to do?

Sven probly loved the youtube videos

rumors that Michael Essien suffered a season ending injury today in training, possible ACL tear, would be a massive blow for them

For him as well really, he's turning in to a Van Persie/Ledley King clone with the constant knocks, and he lacks the general twatness that all the other Chelsea players seem to have

I heard about that, hes arguably their most consistent player, this would be damaging for Chelsea.

Essien is that guy that gets them the goal when they really need it. Very clutch player.

Also, yes, very un-twatish, as they say. Unlike most rentboys.

That's actually exactly what it was. Hopefully Hargreaves can find a way to stay healthy, a great player when he is.
