LSU dominated the second half, big win.
Give a team with superior athletes/talent time to prepare for the Ducks, and they have a good shot at a victory.

Of course they're not, but I think by now it should be clear I despise the SEC "we're better than everyone" mindset and will take every opportunity to point out their shortcomings.

While you're at it, Tennessee didn't exactly dominate Montana last night. Sure, it was a 26 point win, but they were up against a team with a first time starter at QB as a sophomore and they gave up nearly 400 yards of total offense to them.
Hell, 5'6" Peter Nguyen averaged over 7 yards a carry, Montana QB's were never sacked and the Griz were able to put Bray/Simms down 4 times.
One TD was a gift pick 6 and the Vols were stopped on goal to go from the 1 6/7 attempts.
I'm assuming Dooley and his ridiculous orange pants aren't exactly thrilled with averaging 2.8 yards per carry against those little ol' Montana boys.

BTW>...how bad is what's lef of the Big 12 North?
Iowa State beats UNI by 1. Of course, that's nothing new to the cyclones the Panthers usually beat them in basketball and give them a good contest on the gridiron yearly.
K-State has to come from behind in the 4th quarter to squeak by the juggernaut that is Eastern Kentucky 10-7.
#21 Missouri gets by Miami of Ohio 21-6? Good luck in Sun Devil Stadium next week. They're going to get rolled.
KU struggles to keep a good McNeese State team away 42-24.

The annual page turn from Canadian football to 4 down ball yesterday, one of the best days of the year.
I get that Oregon liked the idea of that game as they can build up their national profile and probably do a little recruiting in Texas, which in itself may make that game worth it, but it's like taking pigs to slaughter. The SEC is just flat out better than everyone else, (from a PAC12 fan) and if you let one of the top tier teams in that conf. plan for 6 months against Oregon then the bigger stronger athletes of the SEC will beat the crap out of that team 9 times out of ten.
Anyone notice that under armour put a tramp stamp on Auburn's gear this year?
And my US alma mater, ASU has a 1 year window it looks like to window to possibly win the PAC12 with USC suspension and one of Oregon and Stanford will get cancelled out, playing in the North.

The University on Maryland has the absolute worst uniforms in the history of bad uniforms. Georgia's uni's from Saturday look like Penn State compared to these abominations.

I read this before seeing any of the game and thought 'I'm sure they aren't that bad' and then the halftime highlights started and blood streamed from my eyes.

I actually like them. It's not like Maryland is Penn St, Nebraska or one of those schools that has a basic-looking tradition that you shouldn't jerk with. It's kind of why I don't care about Oregon's uni-of-the-week.

It has nothing to do with breaking tradition, I hate the concept of not changing simply due to tradition, they suck because they are f'in hideous. They're way too busy, there's colors and stripes and patterns and every imaginable stupid thing thrown in. It looks like they couldn't decide on one design so they took pieces of 20 and stitched them together.

Biggest upsets of opening week had to be #16ND and #14TCU both losing to unranked teams that were scheduled to be door mats. Now both of them are bounced out of the top 25. Well TCU sits in 25th now.
ND was over ranked to begin with and went into this season not having a clear cut #1QB.
Just what were those jerseys and helmets Maryland was sporting. Looked like they were designed by Helen Keller. What a mess.
Boise beating a annual power house like Georgia will do wonders for their strength of schedule come bowl time.
Go Blue! Next up ND.

I'd agree that ND was over ranked, but they sure looked to have a clear cut number 1 QB until Saturday. It looks like Rees will be the starter going forward. South Florida isn't a doormat either, that's a program with a lot of talent that can play with anyone in the country. The best part of that loss is that Irish fans have already called for Kelly's head, but for swearing too much. Gotta love Catholics.

Don't sleep on Baylor.
I don't know how good they are defensively, but with Griffin at QB they are going to score almost at will against a lot of teams.

Agree with what you are saying Rees definatly out shone Starter Crist. If Kelly doesn't start Rees over Crist and ND season ends up with less than 6 wins he will not make it beyond this season.
I hope Denard can makes a mockery ou of the D of ND again. and what I am meaning about S.Florida is that ND thought they would be challenged by the Florida speed but ultimatly would end up with a win by 10. I on the other hand see S.Florida as a season spoiler for most teams. Just look at them vs Cinn, Louisville, and how close they were to beating Pittsburgh. They are a athletic team no slouch. But I think ND had a little bit of arrogance when they scheduled this game 2,3 seasons ago.

I dont think its ever an upset when they lose anymore...and hasnt been for a good long while.
By far, and not even close, the most over-rated/over-hyped team in the game for at least a decade now.
In their last 9 seasons they are a combined 64-49....thats mediocre at best.

Rees has been announced as the starter.
I wouldn't expect Robinson to do what he did last year, that's not the way he's being used this year, but Michigan should win that game. Personally I'd like to see a nuclear blast hit the stadium about mid 3rd Quarter.

Ouch, lol Ohio fan by chance? Denard won't put up video game like stats because of the mix of the pro formation with some spread attack Borges is going to use but he is talented enough to put up crazy stats if he gets the green light.
Roundtree and Hemmingway didn't even get used much once that happens they are going to put up allot of points on the scoreboard.
