Didn't read the entire thread yet, but while we are coming up with possible names, I would like to throw my suggestion onto the pile. Seeing as they are going to be in our division, and with time, a likely rival, I suggest:

Through most of the NHL season, Arizona is on Mountain Time like Colorado and only an hour behind the rest of the Central Division. Vegas is always on Pacific time and would be two hours behind most of the teams in the Central.

With the Seattle coffee connection, I think the Seattle Grinders would be a fun name for the team, giving a nod to both the coffee culture, and hockey.

I wouldn't mind that. But again, that wouldn't really suit the red, white, and black colors.

If it's between Kraken, Cougars, Totems, and Seals, I'd say go with any of them except Cougars.

It's called the emerald city, just be green FFS. The seahawks and sounders use green too.

Metropolitan is the name of a division in the league, would it be weird if it was also a franchise name?

Also lots of people seem to like Totems and some sort of Indigenous art-style logo/theme. I gotta ask, in this day and age, is that appropriate?
