Immortals Fenyx Rising is free from Ubisoft for PC today. It was an enjoyable for me when I played it years ago, but I'm a sucker for open world games. Worth checking out for that price IMO.
Very fun game. As close to the new-age Zelda games as it gets. I got flustered by the end by how hard some of the areas were and gave up before beating it. Wish I didn't ##### out, as it's quite enjoyable.

Lol pre-loading Black Ops 7 on Gamepass and launched the game cause I thought it released today (it doesn't), man I hate these modern games with layers of launchers.. and I've had games in the past tell me I need to update my video card drivers, but I think this is the first time a game has told me that it won't run until I update my PC's BIOS...

Lol I've been reading the reviews of the campaign, just a bunch of random boring coop missions thrown together where is all giant bosses and crazy stuff (because you're on drugs), maybe 4 hours worth. And those few hours are terrible.
I'm not even going to try it just going to uninstall, so many other actual good games deserve my time.

The last boss of Act 1 was a huge wall for me. I got really freaking good at that runback because of how many times I had to do it.
You're in luck, because I think you'll find that the difficulty curve flattens out in Act 2. There's only 2 more bosses in the game I found more difficult, and one of them is the final boss of the game.

BF6 did the same thing, wants you to enable some setting that's used for anti-cheat

A bit of creative editing there, but...yeah. As I've been getting older, this is how I feel. I've been finding myself turning to single player games, preferably offline. Just not interested in the online aspect anymore, especially the people.
Picked up Dragon Quest 1 & 2 2D-HD Remake the other day.
I'm about halfway through DQ1. Now that's a trip down memory lane, with some really nice QoL improvements, too. Brings me right back to '89...when Dragon Warrior was the first NES game I bought for myself. Good times, good times.

Finished 100%ing it the other day. Really good remake. I seems to have some heavy difficult spikes. A couple bosses took multiple tries and even the occasional random normal fight could take me out with some bad RNG.
I think II is actually the better half, so you're in for a treat when you get to that one. Took one of the worst games of the series (talking NES version) to a really good experience. Postgame is pretty meh (like IIIs was), but I mainly played to relive the main games for these and they were well worth it, though the "true" ending is pretty neat.

I am also enjoying the remake. But it's been long enough that I'm not sure if specific stuff that I am coming across was added or my memory has just faded lol.
I did a double take at the monster names/varieties. Wait, there weren't this many weapons and armor was there? Sigils?
Spoiler!
And you're supposed to haul her fat ass for the rest of the game for the true/different ending? It was funny enough staying at an Inn with the character holding her for the achievement.

Agreed entirely... if it helps, I've found act 2 easier, although getting the double jump was a complete bitch. Actually I'm at a spot now where there's wave after wave of enemy, and I thought I had it beat after I killed this one bigger enemy, only it kept going and eventually two of that same bigger enemy appeared and kicked my ass and that's actually kind of a wall for me right now.
Game is ####ing hard...and this post probably didn't end up helping you at all.
