They actually show that the team is better with him OFF the ice...same with Weegar. Bahl has been the most atrocious.

Andersson plays the toughest minutes ofany defenceman by far. Yet he's 4th on the team for expected goals, first out of the Dmen, by a mile. First out of the D for created goals. Andersson and Parekh are the only defencemen creating any offence on the team.

The advanced stats on Weegar actually show him at 55% Corsi, BTW. And if you really want to look at relative expected goals, Jake Bean is the best Dman on the team. Not sure I'm hanging my hat on that stat.

Guessing Conman is giving them 20 games before starting to rearrange the deck chairs. But I think the next couple a big ones to prove whether the Rangers game was the start of a new direction or just a blip in the downward trend.
