You have to turn it off after the final whistle and switch to radio or Youtube, otherwise you are doing it wrong. Long term exposure to SN panelists causes brain cancer.

I think that would be a horrible move. Marner with an elite #1 C and another elite level player in Nylander have won squat. This team needs more than 1 game-breaker.

Totally agree, I would love to see them try to sign Marner. They have more than enough cap room. Try to sign Coronato, Zary, Wolf for as much term as possible. Sign Frost for at least 5 years and sign Marner.

That's the problem though. It needs to be over. We're not doing anything against an actual playoff team even if we get there. Just wrap it up and try not to shoot ourselves in the foot like we tried to do last year (but got lucky with a deep first round and an excellent d-prospect still available).
It's not "cheering for losing," it's "cheering for winning the bigger picture."

There is NO way Huska is taking a fine.
Torts? Sure...he's made millions. Not Huska.

Looks like we are not getting very high picks in the 1st round. Sucks for the rebuild.
We do have an elite goalie, so at least we have something of value. But man, the majority of the rest of the roster needs a huge overhaul.

Flames 76.8% "deserve to win"
Draisaitl 2 goals on .44 expected
Flames 3.3 expected to 1.86
I actually think the flames did a pretty good job with Draisaitl. His two goals were not high danger chances.

Leon just killed us all by himself, rest of the team was trash but didn’t matter he just put them on their back. Kadri’s been trying his best to be that guy for us but today was a reminder of how no one on this squad is even close to being that guy.

The season is not done at all. My God a lot of this fan base is so fragile. I wish there was a way where if the Flames make the playoffs the posters claiming the season is done can't watch. The whole year it's been the season is done, we are not making the playoffs before the puck even dropped for game 1. Wtf ever happened to cheering for your team to succeed? There sure seems like a lot of posters Cheer more for failure than success.

With the way this team works and comes at you in waves when they're on, if they had a guy or two that could score they'd be deadly.

They have won squat with less than stellar goaltending every single year.
If you don't think Marner, a game breaker player, wouldn't be a great addition, I don't know what to tell you.
He will never sign in CGY, so I'm not thinking about it. But i think you'd be crazy to not make the phone call if he hits free agency.

This team seems to play scared especially in the third when they have a one goal lead. A little mistake always cost a goal against then cost them a game.
They need to see a sport psychologist as a group. Are they having inferiority complex?

The season is over. We are not making the playoffs. And we are not getting a high pick.

This team is coached to be .500.
Under Huska's system this team does not generate scoring chances or prevent scoring chances. It is literally good at nothing except goaltending, which is now falling back. Both times the Flames got up by a goal they absolutely cratered back and tried to eek out a 1 goal win. When this team is trailing and they are forced to generate offense they are capable of comebacks, but give Huska a 1 goal lead and it time to shut it down and pray your goalie can stand on his head.
Career losing coach continues to be a losing coach. Huge shocker that a guy who stunk in the AHL can't get it done in the NHL.

A game they absolutely had to have with 3 minutes to go.
Weakness on full display.
And to a hated rival that will use this game to pump up their over inflated tires.
Jacob Markstrom would be proud of the mental fragility that continues to poison this team.
Season done.

I wonder how Marner would even look here. Who's he playing with?
