Default AHLTV absorbed by FloHockey

For those of you who are big on the minor leagues and prospects, this is absolutely huge! The cost is $200CAD for the season, but the amount of live games available is ridiculous. FloHockey now has the streaming rights to the AHL, ECHL, SPHL, USHL, NCAA (Some), and CJHL (Canadian Junior A Leagues)

The stream quality is decent, very dependent on the equipment available at each arena, and still often relies on in-arena video feeds. But a great opportunity to get a good look at some of the USHL prospects we don’t normally get to see much of.

For Wranglers STH, this is a huge upgrade, previously we would only get the AHLTV Away Games package included with our tickets, and would have to pay for playoffs separately. Wranglers STH now how access to the full $200 package completely free with our season tickets.

…Now to see if I can get a refund on my previously purchased full year.

Do you get access to all of FloSports with that?

It's far and away the best streaming service in North America for grassroots auto racing.

I never checked out auto racing, but My regular subscription for FloHockey did work for other sports.

I’d be curious if the free one wrangler STH gets access to everything.

For cycling weirdos like me, they have all the big races too, still a few left in the season. Would be nice to see the Wrangler kids and then the Giro, Tour and Vuelta next year.

Thanks for sharing!

BCHL is also broadcast on FloHockey.

You may know better than me. Does FloHockey just take the incumbent play-by-play people, or do they have their own. The USHL ones seem to be very “FloHockey” branded.

Incumbents. I call games for the Okotoks Oilers. I'm not employed by Flo.

When I signed up from the link in my email from the Wranglers, it brought me right to a price per month option. I know the email said more info would come from Flosports; just wondering if everybody else saw something similar.

Yeah, I think they just want to get those initial registrations. But I imagine there will be clearer instructions to the start of the season.

I wonder if they'll still offer the occasional "free" game of the week like AHL.com did.

FloHockey does usually have a “free preview” game daily… but it really varies from league to league. I wouldn’t be surprised if they throw an AHL game there occasionally. I’ve seen it be everything from U16 South American championships to ECHL.
