Flames Teams calling Flames with interest in Kadri

Source is clearly labeled, and everyone knows they don't always have the greatest track record, but discuss.

Maybe this time, they are in a full rip it down to the studs rebuild.

I've never really trusted anything TFP says, but Dennis Bernstein basically broke the Kings pick trade an hour before it happened, though that could mean next to nothing lol

From everything I have heard unless there has been a very recent change of heart Kadri does not want to go anywhere.

Feels like the studs might be going too.

How does Pagnotta have media credentials? He even voted on the Conn Smythe.

One time he went for breakfast with a colleague and he wanted Eggs Benedict so that's what he ordered. He wished he got the pancake stack instead. He was wrong. So the answer to your question could probably be no.

Pagnotta's a mix bag but he has been right before. But in all honesty, is it shocking that Kadri would be open to moving after all the pieces that have been traded off the team? The guy obviously wants to still have another shot at a cup while he's still playing at a high level

Short of a trade request, I can't see anything happening on the Kadri front.

Still have a season to play. Kadri would be a trade deadline deal.

Would make sense, Kadri didn't sign in Calgary as a Free Agent at his age to go through a rebuild/retool. I expect him to be moved.

I would assume if Kadri chatter is at the draft, it's because he doesn't want to be here through this whole...uh...retool.

He's making $7M/year for another 5 years isn't he? He'll be like 38 at the end of the deal.

Someone please take that off our hands lmao.

What has he been right on?

He had Huberdeau flipped right after the trade.

I said this in the other thread.

I have mixed emotions. On one hand he was awesome for most of the season and an excellent mentor to Pelts, Zary and the young guys. You need savvy vets who have a high GAF meter when building up a youthful core.

...on the other hand if you can rid yourself of that contract when he is getting $7M/year when he is like 38 and get a nice asset back, you absolutely do it

I guess the framework for a Kadri trade would be acquiring an ugly contract in return and then getting a 1st?
