It's kind of like biathlon where you jog until near the teebox and then walk for a moment to get your heart rate down. Way more interesting than the boring conventional method.

Is this not decently offset by the precipitation in May though? Looking back through the last few years it seems like May had double the normal precipitation, so while June has been drier than usual things are not as dire as that tweet suggests?

According to the forecast, that's about to change...it's supposed to pour on Thursday (25-35 mm), and precipitation expected every day the next several days save for Saturday.

Yeah, for the time bein the growing season precipitation remains in still ok condition for most of Southern Alberta based on the June 20 report from here but a few days of showers would certainly help a lot:

Which forecast? Environment Canada only shows showers for Thursday.

Weather Network. I know they're not the best source, but that's what they've been consistently showing for the next week.

Predicting rain every day from this Thurs to next Thurs, with the exception of Saturday (thank jebus as I have Stamps tickets on Sat)
