Every time we do a storage room purge, I can’t bring myself to throw out the box of video tapes and sports sections from the ‘89 playoffs. I’m never going to look at them and when I tried to digitize the tapes they had terrible color bands. I’m not a horder, so why can’t I get rid of them?

So I am volunteering today and saw, probably a 14 yr old, wearing a Nirvana shirt. What are the odds if I ask what is your favourite song they could come up with anything besides “smells like teen spirit”? I feel like I probably shouldn’t. Maybe I’ll get my daughter to ask.

This isn't a swipe at you per se, but who cares.

It is akin to me having a Zeppelin shirt in Jr High.

The "who cares" point stands, but I think if you do the math on the time passed, there were a lot more years between now and Nirvana vs Zeppelin and you. Unless you are much younger than I thought.

There's 20 years between the height of Zeppelin and Nirvana and it's been 30 years since then. Scary.

My cousin's 16-year-old loves 90s music. She had Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness on the turntable last time I visited. She loves Nirvana too.

Lots of band shirts became stylish but I wouldn't assume they're not a of a hugely popular artist.

Not really, ultimately nothing really matters in this sense. It’s a random question, like how many toddlers can you beat up? Is there a realistic, non-Stephen King type scenario where it matters?

As someone who rarely drives downtown, except maybe once a year for an endo-oncology appt, I can never remember which roads run only 1 direction and which parkades use which parking system/app.

May I beg some help off y'all? Have to be at Gulf Square on Tuesday - I've received a message from the clinic that the 9th Ave ramp is closed to the parkade there, so go in on 10th. Is 10th a one way? Also, does anyone know which parking app I need for there? Please tell me it's this one and I can finally use up the balance on it.

Much thanks for the answer. I dislike going in unprepared, and don't want to get stuck looking for parking and ending up being late. Fingers crossed, this is the last or 2nd to last appt with the endo-onc & we don't have to go in again.
