I'd be embarrassed to be a Co-Operators agent right now. Insurance in the front, investments in the back with the dorkiest guy with the dorkiest mullet as the agent in the commercial.
There is an Amazon commercial where a teenager goes to visit his grandmother and they go for a ride on his motorbike. The commercial itself is whatever, but the piano music is so loud I need to turn the volume down two notches on my TV. I really wish they would pass a law saying all volume on shows and commercials need to be the same level

There have been rules for this established by the CRTC around 12 years ago.
Hello Mr McDavid, this is Steve, your investment advisor from CIBC. How would you like to come down to the branch and review your portfolio in our lobby among the dirty commoners? Great! See you in 15. By the way, we think the general population is incredibly dumb.

Commercials on gas station pumps are automatically going to be annoying. But the one that plays on SHell (at least here), is so freaking loud, and it's got some woman dancing in her car, and it makes me actively want to not go to Shell.
Olympic themed advertising is so cringe-worthy. I'm already tired of all these blowhard commercials.
Relatedly.... opportunistic / virtue signaling corporate advertising, whether commercials or social media content, had always been absolute cringe IMO. We had a partner at our studio leave recently that was in charge of this and 100% for this; when she left, I took over - I immediately put a stop to that that type of campaigning.
