Sounds like Chelsea is chasing McKenna pretty hard right now.

In awesome news... Dougie Freedman told Newcastle he was not interested and re-signed at Palace.

Now just get started on the new stand this summer

Wow, Lucas Paqueta who was supposed to be an £80m value guy has been charged for match fixing allegations. He intentionally got carded and there are some gambling improprieties in the mix as well. I saw one of the fouls and honestly the guy looks completely guilty. There are four fouls they investigated in particular.

Yeah it looks like a potential lifetime ban from football actually impacting a game for a bet like that 4x. huge loss of money for west ham if true.

I can't believe bayern are really hiring kompany, so terrible this year, zero adjustment to the prem and terrible results... the ex players just seem to fail upwards in mgmt. Thing is at bayern he might actually succeed as it seems like a caveman could manage them to a top 3 finish there is the occasional miracle season like this past one but otherwise bvb seem to be the only team remotely challenging them

Saw all 4 today and 2 definitely looks obvious.
I'm shocked all this sports betting culture is seeping into the players so much.

The Guardian.

Manchester United have decided to sack Erik ten Hag after the FA Cup final against Manchester City.

In an echo of United parting company with Louis van Gaal despite winning the FA Cup in 2016, it is understood that even beating City at Wembley on Saturday will not save Ten Hag.

timing sucks, but that's the nature of being in the FA Cup final. Chelsea and Brighton having already made their move and having some of the same names on their shortlist doesn't help, either.

Correct call either way.

Pretty much. Gotta strike while the candidates are available.

They should hire Xavi! He got canned the other day.

Of course they sack him and this is the best they've looked in a while. I mean some of it is City being crap, but United have also looked structured and good on the ball.

City have been brutal, but United have also played well. Ten Hag, to his credit, has got this spot on so far ... and a healthy Varane/Martinez pairing in the back makes all the difference in the world. Their injuries have killed United this season.

The two teenagers scoring the goals makes sense too, those two have been rare bright spots all season. I expect fireworks from City in the second half, so this is far from over ... but so far so good.

It’s also amusing that United and ETH could end up with a better season than Arteta.

City have been bad, but United have also just outworked them. Also think Pep got it wrong not starting Doku, United were always going to sit back more so the need for Kovacic in the first half was unnecessary.

Now all United have to do is hire Mourinho again and the circle is complete.

Haha. Wow! Didn't see that coming at all.

Anyways goodbye ETH. Have to go. That win doesn't gloss o over the issues at the club. Antony Mount and Onana three bad buys.

They need to do a slow rebuild with quality and youth.

honestly really happy for ten Tag today though. Last few days must have been brutal, with the British media out in full force.

Wasn't aware that puts United in Europa League. Puts Chelsea down into the conference and knocks Newcastle out of it Europe.

Not sure that's necessarily a good thing. Thursday nights to me suggest more injuries.

Good for them!

I'm torn about Leeds though. Considering Leeds were a thorn in the past, but I've got buddies from Leeds that I played with, and what happened to Leeds was a pretty good cautionary tale...I'm always on the fence with Leeds.

Ah well. Either way its at least another year in the Championship for them.
