The best part is they’ll post 1-2 photos of him a day.
I really like seeing the photos of him but everything else I could do without, seems like a lot of work for minimal benefit.

The pics would be cool for sure. At least you know he is being looked after properly too.

I've said it before but Squelch is an impeccable grindcore band name.

It's my dad's bday tomorrow (he died 20 years ago). I found a pack of his cigarettes in an old gym bag maybe 10 years ago? They're really old. I smoke one from that pack on his birthday every year. Can't friggen wait for tomorrow. I love that tradition so much. By myself, with a beer, on my patio, smelling my dad's smell. Been looking forward to it for a month. I smoke exactly one cigarette per year.

i've been wanting to buy a dado blade for my table saw for quite a while. i have lots of jobs coming up that i could really use the blade, so i finally picked one up about a week ago (it's an adjustable blade that cuts channels in wood - mine does cuts from 1/4" - 7/8' wide). i had a chance to use it today - wow! it's awesome and worked fantastic! so happy it worked as well as i hoped!!

wrmmh... getting my old truck back on the road... soon!
the last time i drove my old truck i had a slight issue with a sticking accelerator pedal... not fun! i do NOT recommend!! i didn't have the time to get the truck fixed at the time so it had to wait until this spring.
i got the truck to the mechanics (tow truck) and he just called to say he figured out what was causing the issue (i thought possibly a dirty throttle body)... apparently a gasket has mis-shaped over time and the throttle plates were 'hooking up' on the gasket, causing the throttle to get stuck open.
he said the gasket is no longer rubber (so i'm guessing the manufacturer figured out over time that this was happening). he's just finding the part and will have my truck ready early next week - i can't wait!

Bought a house 18 months ago (first time).
Had a large tree in the back yard. Figured out today it's ~120 years old.
Good to have old friends!
