I came across a good article on flames nation.

He revealed his father is battling cancer and that was a hard thing for his family to work through this year.

I can't help it but root for the guy to become a staple in the top 9 next year. Hopefully he comes back on a mission, like Zary did.

Always good to remember you don't know the struggles someone else is carrying.

And this is why I wouldn’t trade Huby for Dubois. He really seems to love the mentorship role, and is constantly mentioned by the young guys as being super helpful and welcoming

Glad he's finding more ways to earn his paycheque.

Rather that then Dubois contract when he's reportedly a cancer in the room... Not saying Hubys is good, just saying I prefer it

I think he is the one of the core players that we should keep him until we see his ceiling.

If Pelts enthusiastic way can infect Huberdeau is there anyone else we can bring in to Help JH get off the self pity train?
Seriously. The guy showed a few glimpses that he's NOT Invested at all and is just collecting a paycheck. Maybe get Coleman in there to get his GAF meter fixed.
I like Pelts but he's so small . Watching thr Wranglers in the playoffs in thr A showed he's a top player at that level but he puts himself in the worst positions to get hammered at the NHL level.
I hope he works hard at putting on some weight muscle but works on keeping his head up too

I agree. He’s tiny and will probably continually get hurt until he fills out.
