Meh, what a cheap win for Sweden, after a ridiculous penalty call on the OT.

Only one PP for Finland in the whole game, and the game definitely didn't look like that. Big meh.

I'm okay with the hooking call, he kept the stick up for too long and Sweden was the better team.

Conroy said he is out for 2 weeks, then should be good to get back to his off season training schedule

No one watch the Sweden/Czechia game?

Dont remember seeing a Swedish team look that overwhelmed and outclassed.

Czechs look like they are on a mission and man that team after adding Pasternak and Necas should probably be the favorites for the gold whether they play Canada or not.

Necas was the star with 4 points and absolutely dominated the whole game.

In a game with many NHL stars playing, Necas was the guy.

I wonder how he’d do with more premium ice time than he gets with Carolina?

I know it’s one game, but……

Marek had someone on from the Raleigh newspaper and he said its all but certain that Necas and the Canes will be parting ways this summer. He just isnt a fit there......for whatever reason.

Marek or Friedman also mentioned Necas' Dad did an interview saying the same thing. That "it was time"

Even with the Canada crest, this isn't the best of the best. Little skill or emotion shown from Canada shift in and out.

Could not disagree more....these guys are completely invested.

They just went nuts when they tied it.

Not talking about the celebration. I'm talking about a speedy skilled game. It's lumbering along.

What an upset. Bedard was great, but a pretty bad shootout for CAN.

Not surprised the Swiss could keep up in regulation and OT, but a shootout win seems like a huge shock to me against Canada.

Shootouts are just such a brutal way to decide important games.

Full marks to the Swiss though, they've been pretty good the whole tournament.
