Kinda hoping Dallas puts this one away so they have enough time to rest up and get healthy. A longer series bodes well for whoever comes out of Vancouver/Edmonton.

I said it before the trade deadline, if there was 1 player on the Flames I would add to win a cup it would be Tanev #1.

The Stars are the best team in the NHL since adding him and his numbers are off the charts good. xGF% at ES is 1st on the stars, he's been on the ice for the most ES GF and of the top guys in minutes played at ES only Seguin has been out for less GA. They have 6 dmen playing great hockey, their 3rd pairing is very reliable as well, but Tanev solidified their top 4.

He is the only reason I'm cheering for the Stars, I have hated the Stars because of Benn. Since Benn still on the team, I'm focusing on cheering for Tanev.

I've been cheering for whoever is best set up to beat Edmonton. With Nichuskin out now, Stars are hands down the better team. FLA and either NYR/CAR are ok with me. Vancouver beats Edmonton, I would love to see Tanev get a cup. He is a warrior.

Yes agree. When Stars reaches the SC Final, I wholeheartedly cheering for him to get the Cup.

Pretty much my exact thoughts. Dallas looks to be the most complete team right now in the playoffs, and hopefully can embarrass whoever wins the Oilers/Canucks toilet bowl. Those two teams are pretenders who got an easy 1st round match up. They're going to be destroyed by an actual NHL calibre team soon.

Good news, SiriusXM has updated that the game will be with national play by play announcers John Ahlers and Jim Fox from Sports USA on channel 91.
