Do you have some examples? Out of their 100s of guests, I've always seen them be very respectful, especially to the older legends where they clearly change the tone of the interview. Anytime they go to thr barstool headquarters they say hi to all the staff. Biz literally goes and introduces himself to people and shakes their hand. All the live events they put on they are very good to the fans. So I'm curious how you're forming this opinion of them like theyre some horrible humans.

The funniest part is tying to silence people from expressing their opinions by calling it cancel culture, is in itself cancel culture.

I don't hate anyone, there was a request for stuff about the show.
Bissonette has been called out for mysoginistic comments like how female fans are just there to look at the players. And he was an ass on the awards show.
Ray Whitney is an Oilers fan.

I listen to spittin chiclets because it's pretty much one of few NHL podcasts that can get good player interviews.
I find them kind of childish and immature. One thing I hate as I've already mentioned is their drugs talk and how they seem to talk about it like it's not a big deal. Their friend literally died from an OD and they still talk about those drugs so nonchalantly instead of speaking out against it.
When you have a stage like that imo you need to be responsible for what you say and how you say it.
Others won't agree and I don't actually care just like I'm sure biz and whitt don't care what I say or think but don't be surprised when more of them and his friends die from an OD.

I think I watched two SC episodes in full ever and both left me cringing.
Not far behind watching a clip of Andrew Tate and his criminal entourage for repulsive viewing.

I mean, I know people who make cocaine a New Year's tradition and never touch it any other time. But if someone is doing it in the middle of playing in the Stanley Cup playoffs, there is a good chance they don't have it under control.
It's definitely too easy to let it get out of control especially when it's within your budget.

I think a lot of people will be surprised how many people you know do cocaine.
People do lines just like they have drinks.

Well never touched snow and barely drink.
I thought i was average health-wise but if that's true then I must be in the upper echelon in my friend/work network just by abstaining from drugs as a 30-something lol.
That's sobering since I don't even feel particularly healthy. A dairy treat alone does me in these days.

When people are drinking a good chance a bunch are doing blow nowadays. It’s not uncommon.
Athletes with a lot of money and free time on the road the vices get you.
It’s also not a 30s thing either.

Doing blow nowadays is really stupid. I have seen more than one guy I used to hang out with put in the ground thanks to fentanyl in their cocaine. It isn't worth it.

I agree with you in some respects. More people probably do coke than I wanted to believe. Then just over a few years I found out lots hide it.
That said, we should not let that normalize it. Its a shty drug done by primarily shty people. I get that people may cope with mental illness with it, but sorry you go down the path you’ll become shty to everyone around you. I wondered why some people around me were becoming losers, then learned yep hard drugs.
I am no saint either, but one advice I give stay away from that stuff. Its all kinds of hurt

Not sure how Portnoy has anything to do with the character of Biz and Whit.
You're really scraping the bottom of the barrel here.

It is the drug of choice in safety critical roles when people have time off because it remains in the system for such a short period of time compared to other drugs. Employees don't have as much risk of a positive drug test.

This is the world we live in now. Watch a clip or two, read a headline or two, form a strong opinion.
